One of the finest musicians to emerge from a celebrated group of Italian virtuosi this past decade, Enrico Sartori has been establishing himself in both the Asian and European musical scene. Graduated from the prestigious Yale University, he maintains an intense concert schedule in Europe and China as an opera and orchestral conductor.
Many orchestras in China including the Kunming International Philharmonic Orchestra and the Changchun Theatre Orchestra often invite maestro Sartori as a guest conductor. For the New Year 2021 he conducted a tour of 18 concerts around China with the Global Festival Symphony Orchestra, and in April 2021 he opened the season of the Xi’An Choir and Symphony Orchestra.
In the USA he was the main conductor and artistic director of Musica d’Insieme Orchestra based in Long Island New York from 2009 to 2011. Now he cooperates with the Brazilian Opera and the Opera Grattacielo in New York City (USA). In Italy he cooperated with the Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana and the Trentino Opera Festival. He worked with many professional orchestras around the world including the Kaliningrad Philharmonic Orchestra (Russia), Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra (Bulgaria), Hudson Symphony Orchestra (USA), Durres Festival Orchestra (Albania), Maribor’s Festival Orchestra (Slovenia) and I virtuosi di Torino (Italy).
Maia Gonzalez is a classically trained soprano pursuing her love and passion for opera and outreach through performance.
Her recent performances include Adina in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore with Teatro Grattacielo and Camerata Bardi, and Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni with Prague Summer Nights. She has also performed as Angélique in Ibert’s opera, Giannetta in L’Elisir d’Amore, and Zweite Dame in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte.
In the 2023/2024 season, Maia made her solo debut at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium/ Perelman Stage for the Celebration of 150 Years of Rachmaninoff concert series, and later in Classical Movements’ Rectory on Princess Street.
Maia was featured in Salon Avec Moi’s Swan Opera. In October, she was featured in Teatro Grattacielo’s concert series 10 Faces of Maria Callas at the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Foundation gala with Teatro Grattacielo.
She has worked with both world class conductors Jason Tramm, John Nardolillo, Pierre Vallet, Felipe Tristán, and Jackson McKinnon; and directors Stefanos Koroneos, Mary Duncan, John de los Santos, Ivet Pérez Mazón, and A. Scott Parry.
Maia holds a Master of Music Degree and Bachelor of Music Degree from Manhattan School of Music. When not on stage, Maia enjoys crocheting, jogging, and playing the piano.
Zhedong Ren, a tenor with Mannes Opera, received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing. He made his role debut as Nemorino in New York City in June 2024. He has performed on prestigious stages, including the National Center for the Performing Arts, and sang at the closing ceremony of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Zhedong is a young artist with Teatro Grattacielo in New York City, the Mediterranean Opera Studio & Festival in Italy, and Cévennes Lyriques in France.
